Very Important !!!!! To all Clubs in all areas

Management of Yorkshire Youth are hold an Under 16's forum at West Leeds Sports and Social club on Monday 2nd September starting at 7.30pm. This is to discuss the Under 16's Winter League for all teams in Yorkshire, Hull, West Riding and surrounding areas to play in. Management is proposing an Under 16's season that will start 13th October 2013.

In this Under 16's league Yorkshire Youth will provide week-by-week fixtures for all clubs only breaking for two weeks one for Christmas and one for New Year. These fixtures will be made up of both league and cup fixtures, then a top four play off to finish off the season.

This meeting is important for all clubs and for the future of winter rugby not only at Youth but Open age, as these players are the future of your clubs.

The reason we are pushing this and having this meeting is due to the amount of complaining phone calls we as management have received and are receiving on a daily basis regarding summer rugby. Clubs have stated they have given it the try they said they would, it isn't for them and isn't working for the club and it is time to move back to the traditional winter league.

This is now the time for clubs to stand up be strong and fight with Yorkshire Youth for what they want.

Please can you let Alan Boot know if you are going to be attending this meeting on 0113 2794 333 or 07802 521 869 or by email at alan.boot@yahoo.com

As a remind to all clubs competing in the Yorkshire Youth Winter league at Under 18's and 17's you need to have your cards done for the start of the season on Sunday 15th September 2013. If you don't have your cards and signing of pads then please contact Alan Boot ASAP to arrange collection of these. All teams including Hull are playing using the Yorkshire Youth cards so that teams can get the cards back quicker this is to get more kids on the pitch playing our game quicker.
